Roswaal Arthur Mathers (also known as The Original Roswaal) was the head of the Roswaal house and a apprentice of the Witch of Greed. Currently, Roswaal lives as a spirit and keeps possessing the bodies of his descendants.
Appearance[]
According to Echidna, the original Roswaal had long, dark indigo hair and blue eyes, however, due unknown circumstances, his descendants got two different colored eyes.
Personality[]
His only purpose of living is to meet his teacher Echidna again at any cost, even if that meant sacrificing himself or those close to him, making Echidna describe him as being "a little too earnest".
He has figured out that Jens is looping through some method, causing him to challenge him, and subsequently lost. Though he has agreed to help him after losing, he has threatened to force him to loop if he makes a mistake.
He has also absolute hate against defeat, he can't resist losing. This was shown when he lost for the first time against Hector and swore to have his revenge one day.
History[]
Somewhere in the past, Roswaal came in touch with Echidna and they together started working on projects like The Staff, Eternal Knowledge, Eternal Life and Ekidona.
2 years after meeting Echidna, Roswaal came in a fight with a person known as a Warlock, Hector. He died in the fight and started taking over the bodies of his descendants.
